Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Ribbon: the web app, browser extension, and iOS app. By creating an account you agree to them.

Your account

You need a valid email address to sign up. You’re responsible for activity that happens under your account.

Your content

What you save stays yours. You give Ribbon permission to store and process it so the service works: we clean it up for the reader, automatically generate outlines, turn it into audio when you ask, sync it to your devices, and let Scout answer your questions about it.

Acceptable use

Save things for your own reading. Don’t use Ribbon to redistribute copyrighted material or to disrupt the service for others.

Availability

Ribbon is available as a production service. We work to keep it reliable, but the service is provided as-is and features may change.

Ending things

You can stop using Ribbon or delete your account in iOS Settings at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. If we ever discontinue the service, we’ll give you notice and a way to retrieve what you saved.
